Having dogs myself I try and be as flexible as possible. If you have more than 3 dogs please contact me to discuss. There is a small charge of £20 per pet per stay. I am also very accommodating of other pets and have had cats, rabbits, budgies and parrots staying – again, please contact me direct to discuss further.
5Where is the nearest supermarket?
Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco all deliver to this area. We have a Co–Op in Staithes which is well stocked and do fresh baked bread. In Hinderwell there is a Butchers that is also a general store. At Lythe there is a Community general store shop, café and Post Office. In Whitby there is a Lidl, Aldi, a large Co-Op and a Sainsbury’s (with fuel station) Head towards Saltburn and at Skelton there is an Asda with fuel station.
6How far is it to a café or pub?
The Badger Hounds is about a 10 minute walk – they consistently get good reviews from our guests. They are dog friendly but I would advise booking as they do get busy. Just up the road from there is The Ellerby Hotel, which does pub food and has a lovely garden. (dogs welcome in the bar area and garden. ) The Black Bull at Ugthorpe is well worth a visit as is Sneaton Castle. The Jolly Sailors on the A171 is also fantastic. At Sandsend, there are 2 Cafés with beautiful seafront positions and dogs are welcome. To be honest the whole area is covered with pubs and cafes that are welcoming of children and dogs so you are totally spoilt for choice whichever way you turn.
7What is the weekly booking change over day?
Friday

There is parking for a total of 4 cars in the parking bays against the brick wall. If you require more than this please email me with your request.
